New Kitchen with Addition, Entry Porch, and Garage:
1920s Colonial Revival

A small addition transformed a galley kitchen into a bright, functional eat-in kitchen. New cabinets were styled after the originals, and a glass-fronted cabinet was restored. The addition also expanded a half-bath into a full bath. The new entry porch leading to the garden and garage is in keeping with the 1920's spirit of the original house. The new garage with two bays functions as a workspace for a classic car enthusiast. A lift allows for the storage of a small sports car and is used for car maintenance. Below the structural floor slab is a large gravel-filled dry-well, which has completely alleviated the serious springtime flooding of the backyard.
